The primary danger lies in the gradual progression of chronic cerebral ischemia, which often remains asymptomatic and invisible to patients and standard screening methods. Unlike CT or MRI, which record damage that has already occurred, the NR2 biomarker identifies biochemical signs of ischemia and neuronal damage at the pre-hospital stage.
