The medical device is intended for the detection of mutations associated with resistance of Human Immunodeficiency Virus-1 (HIV-1) to antiretroviral therapy using Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS). The test is intended to be used as an aid in assessing viral susceptibility to antiretroviral therapy and to support clinical decision-making in the management of HIV-1 infection.
